Participant InformationSyracuse University has been demonstrating excellence in liberal arts education since the date of its founding in 1870. The award-winning SU mock trial team provides an excellent introduction to the dynamics of trial advocacy and intercollegiate competition. Students learn how to argue a case, examine and cross-examine witnesses, be successful in the rigorous courtroom environment, and forge a coherent team that capitalizes on every individual's talent. They also learn the stages of a trial, rules of evidence, and the logic of legal reasoning. 2008 AMTA Regional TournamentWe are proud to welcome the American Mock Trial Association to Syracuse for the second annual Syracuse University Regional Tournament, February 15-17, 2008.
